Last few months in B-school has been amazing. Meeting a lot of people. Learning all new set of skills. Special mention to all the parties & fun stuffs. The environment over here is dynamic. Always active!
Biggest lesson till now has been learning Multitasking (Time Management). There are just so many things to do over here. Studies is just one part of it. I remember initial days in college. Seniors used to tell us, "There are a lot of things to learn in campus apart from just bookish knowledge. Explore!" Now I understand a bit of it. Exploring a lot of things lately.
Among all these amazing things going around it's easy to loose focus from the main thing...BUILDING A STRONG CAREER! Yesterday we had a resume writing session. Our placecom mentor gave us very useful insight about how to write a good resume. What to do & what not to include in resumes. Not just this, he also talked about a lot of things which can help us grow, e.g. Reading recommended magazines, How to build our Brand, etc. I thank him for his wonderful ideas.
I have been involved in a lot of activities in campus, right from studies to sports to partying. I guess this resume writing session turned out to redirect my focus all over again. It's important to learn. The real question is what is it that you are learning.
